THE PLIGHT OF IRAQ’S CHRISTIANS
Tel Isqof is a village that lies less than 20 miles north of Mosul in northern Iraq. It was a Christian village until the arrival of ISIS (Daesh) in August 2014. Christians had lived there peacefully and walked its narrow streets for over a thousand years. When the ISIS terrorists arrived, its 7,000 Christian inhabitants fled for their lives. Houses and possessions were abandoned. Others were wrecked.
